Why did you join Strength Camp?
I started a new job and lost access to my corporate gym.
I was looking for a gym that was nearby and one that offered challenging classes.
Can you describe your top 3 goals you had before starting?
My main goal was to get back into a consistent exercise routine.
I also wanted to feel stronger and physically capable to participate in any type of strenuous activity.
If I woke up one morning and felt like running a half marathon, that I could totally do it!
List your achievements you’ve had since beginning at Strength Camp.
I can do pistol squats and a couple of (struggling) pull ups.
What compliments have you received since joining Strength Camp?
Mostly how much stronger I’ve gotten.
What is the biggest obstacle you’ve faced in your journey?
Waking up to get to the gym on time.
Mentally, however, I still find it challenging to look at the scale numbers and not feel too discouraged.
What is your favorite thing about Strength Camp? What makes it unique from other gyms?
Even though I’ve been coming to class consistently for over a year, I love that I can still feel sore!
The coaches are also great, and are quick to fix my form and push me to do more.
What is your least favorite thing about Strength Camp?
It’s hard to miss a day of the week.
If I can’t come on a Monday, I don’t like that that also means I miss out on deadlifts for the week.
Who would you recommend Strength Camp to?
It’s really for anybody, at any level!
I think it’s especially great for people looking to get stronger and learn proper technique.
